Donna Redlick


Donna Redliick is a Certified Movement Analyst (in Laban/ Bartenieff Studies), a Registered Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist (RSME/T), and a contemporary dance artist and teacher living and working in Vancouver, BC. She is dedicated to working with a somatic and philosophical approach to movement and dance, recognizing that our movements are directly related to our lived experiences. Donna also holds a Masters in Somatic Dance Practice (with distinction) through Trinity Laban (London, UK), in partnership with Independent Dance London and Siobhan Davies Dance.

Donna has 30 years of teaching experience which includes; the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, SFU School of Contemporary Arts (as a sessional instructor), Laban/ Bartenieff and Somatic Studies International Program, Vancouver School Board (as an artist in residence), Burnaby School Board (as a guest teacher), Maindance and West Coast Dance/Movement Therapy. She has also been a guest teacher for numerous schools and independent organizations.

Donna is the founder of Moving Arts & Somatic Studies and within her practice she is dedicated to supporting individuals through movement analysis and movement re-patterning. She also offers specialized workshops in somatic-based dance and Laban/ Bartenieff Studies. Donna is also a professional choreographer and dance artist whose work has been presented in numerous venues in Canada, the US, and the UK.

Donna is currently studying Body Mind Centering, with Movimiento Atlas, working towards becoming an Infant Development Movement Educator.
