This meditation is designed to support increasing one’s capacity for interoception which is our capacity to sense the inside of our body. We can become more aware of our breathing, we can use our weight shifting in and out of our centre to find out centre. We can also practice sensing the surface our body is in contact with. We can make a humming tone and notice the vibration in our body as sensations or sound of “Vu”. We can notice what is moving inside our body as we breathe. Other tools we can use if you would like to explore more: -imagine yourself as a tree with roots through your feet or seat, that go into the earth. -notice any other sensations you are aware of – such as tingling of energy, tension anywhere…etc. -notice what it is that draws your awareness in your body? -notice how it is to become still, to invite yourself to stretch…
